Precision's Contractor Streamlining service was created to take the unnecessary administration out of independent contractors' and consultants' engagements with their clients, so they can focus on what they do best.
We handle the administration, insurance, payroll and employer responsibilities for each engagement we manage, and we do it openly. How you are engaged decides your tax position and entitlements, and we explain that in writing before you start. For advice on your own tax affairs, speak to a registered tax agent.
Available to
Terms differ by structure. Some contractors work through us as employees on our payroll, and others invoice us through their own company or business. Tax, super, insurance and salary packaging work differently for each, and we confirm which apply to you before you start.
If you place contractors, we can act as their employer and carry the payroll, insurance and compliance behind them. Tell us which states and territories you place into, and we will tell you before we start whether we can take your placements on.

Clear terms before you start
We set out in writing how you will be engaged, how you will be paid, what is withheld and what we charge, before the engagement begins.
Salary packaging for employees
If you are engaged as our employee, you can salary package eligible benefits such as a novated car lease or extra super contributions. Fringe benefits tax and contribution caps apply, and whether it suits you depends on your circumstances. Get advice from a registered tax agent before you commit.
Reliable payroll
We pay on an agreed cycle and tell you promptly if anything will affect a payment.
Flexible timesheeting
Simple, flexible timesheet options that fit the way you and your clients work.
Dedicated support team
A dedicated contractor support team who know you and your engagement.
Superannuation
Where we are required to pay your super, we pay it at the guarantee rate with each pay run, as the Payday Super rules have required since 1 July 2026. If you contract through your own company, your company pays your super.
Engagement structures
We choose the engagement structure from how the work will actually be done, and we review it if the work changes.
Public liability insurance
Our AU$20 million public liability policy covers work you perform through us, subject to its terms and exclusions. We can provide a certificate of currency.
Professional indemnity insurance
Our AU$10 million professional indemnity policy covers work you perform through us, subject to its terms and exclusions. Some clients also ask contractors to hold their own cover, and we will tell you if your client does.
Workers compensation
Where you work through us as our employee or as a deemed worker, our workers compensation policy covers you. If it does not cover you, we will tell you before you start.
Visas and working away from home
We have sponsored visas where the role and the engagement qualify, and we will tell you whether we can support a sponsorship. For migration advice, speak to a registered migration agent. Employees who have to live away from their usual home for work may be eligible for a living-away-from-home allowance, subject to the tax rules.
