Delivery and Governance
Programme leadership, structured and accountable
through to benefits realisation
We lead as Programme Director on the most consequential transformations in the country, and we carry accountability the whole way.
Service Outline
What this service delivers
We lead complex transformations from seed to benefits realisation. As experienced project, programme and portfolio leaders, we carry accountability the whole way. Our delivery method is grounded in the portfolio and programme methods and frameworks boards already trust (MoP, MSP, and the PMI standards), then instrumented with intelligent tooling at every stage: vector-graph-driven risk definition and scoring, optimised scheduling and resourcing, and real-time portfolio dashboards sponsors can interrogate directly. Those frameworks are the floor for scrutiny rather than a constraint on how we work. We move just as readily inside a client’s own methods, standards, and tooling, and where the programme demands something different we shape a bespoke approach with the same discipline underneath. Every material decision is documented and defensible, ready for the board, the auditor, and the regulator. The result is a portfolio position that is current, evidenced, and honest, and a transformation that completes on terms the business case can stand behind.
The Precision Approach
How we run this work
Owning the outcome.
A senior practitioner steps in as Programme Director or Portfolio Director and carries accountability from mandate to benefits handover, with the scars and judgement of having delivered at this scale before.
Building for scrutiny.
Governance, gating, and benefits management align to MoP, MSP, and PMI practice, adapt to a client’s own framework where that serves the programme better, and stand up to Gateway review and audit either way.
Instrumenting everything.
AI runs beneath the programme: risk scoring trained on delivery data, schedule and resource optimisation, and automated reporting that returns senior time to judgement work.
Evidencing the position.
Status is built from verifiable delivery data, earned value, and tested assumptions, each one checked at the source.
Governing the decisions.
Every material decision is logged with its options, rationale, and delegation trail, so the position holds when the board, the ANAO, or the regulator asks.
Landing the benefits.
Delivery stays governed through transition to operations, benefits handover, and decommissioning, because a programme that fades out never pays back.

The Precision Difference
Why boards choose us for this work
Accountable from mandate to benefits handover
A senior practitioner steps in as Programme Director and carries accountability through to close, with the judgement earned delivering at this scale before. The person accountable on day one is the person accountable at benefits handover.
Evidence over optimism
Status is built from verifiable delivery data, earned value, and tested assumptions, with AI risk scoring running beneath the programme. The position you take to the board is current, evidenced, and honest.
Defensible to board, auditor, and regulator
Every material decision is logged and traceable, inside governance aligned to MoP, MSP, and PMI practice. The method survives audit and Gateway scrutiny without translation.
Senior only. Fiercely independent. 94.3 per cent on-budget across AU$2.3 billion governed since 1996.
What we do
AI-Enabled Portfolio Delivery
We lead complex transformations from governance to close, embedding intelligent tooling at every stage. Automated scheduling, machine-learning risk scoring, and real-time portfolio dashboards give board sponsors a position they can interrogate directly.
Artificial intelligence runs quietly beneath the programme, sharpening decisions and surfacing risk early enough to act. The result is a programme that stays defensible under the closest scrutiny.
Programme and portfolio governance
Board-grade governance, assurance, and reporting that stands up to the highest scrutiny.
AI-driven risk analytics
Machine-learning risk scoring that surfaces exposure early enough to act on it.
Intelligent scheduling and resourcing
Optimised plans and resource models that hold under real-world pressure.
Portfolio health dashboards
Real-time visibility that sponsors can interrogate directly, at any moment.
Benefits realisation
A clear line of sight from every dollar of spend to the value it was committed to create.

Common Questions
The questions we are asked most
What is AI-enabled portfolio delivery?
AI-enabled portfolio delivery is the use of artificial intelligence to sharpen how a portfolio is planned, monitored and governed, alongside experienced practitioners. It means using AI to spot risks earlier, surface schedule and cost trends sooner, and give leaders better information faster, while keeping human judgement and accountability firmly in charge of the decisions. The technology supports delivery discipline. It does not replace it.
How does AI improve programme and portfolio delivery?
AI improves delivery by flagging risks before they surface, predicting schedule and cost slippage earlier, and turning scattered portfolio data into a clear view for decision-makers. It compresses the time from question to insight, so leaders decide in days rather than weeks. Used well, it shifts governance from gut feel to evidence, without removing the experienced judgement that still has to make the call.
Will AI replace project managers and PMOs?
AI will not replace project managers and PMOs, but it will change what they spend their time on. It takes over routine monitoring, reporting and data wrangling, which frees experienced people to focus on stakeholders, risk and the decisions that actually move a programme. The accountability for delivery stays firmly with people. AI is a tool that makes good delivery leaders faster and better informed.
How do you govern the risks of using AI in delivery?
You govern AI risk by being deliberate about where AI is used, what data it touches, and who is accountable for decisions it informs. We treat AI outputs as inputs to human judgement, not as answers, and we keep clear escalation and decision rights. In regulated sectors this matters even more, so AI use is designed to sit inside your existing governance and risk obligations.
Is our data safe if we use AI in portfolio delivery?
Data safety is a design decision, and we make it explicitly, especially for government and regulated clients. We work within your data governance, security and residency requirements, are clear about what information any tool can access, and avoid arrangements that would put sensitive data where it should not be. AI is only worth using if it can be used without compromising confidentiality or compliance.
Do we need mature data before AI can help our portfolio?
You do not need perfect data to start, but you do need to be honest about its quality. AI is only as good as the information it works from, so part of our approach is improving the discipline of portfolio data as we go. We start where you are, use AI where it can already add value, and build towards richer prediction as the data improves.
