Why Energy and Resources roles are hard to fill

Energy and resources operators hire for environments where a mistake carries a safety consequence. Operational technology and enterprise systems have grown together over decades, and people who understand both are scarce. Electricity, gas, and liquid fuel assets carry obligations under the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act, which puts security and risk management expertise into many roles.
