The Challenge
A major Australian bank was operating a long-serving core banking platform across many business units. Overnight batch processing constrained the settlement window, and the accumulated complexity of the existing estate had made earlier modernisation efforts difficult to land.
The board wanted a renewal that would modernise the platform while protecting continuity of service and regulatory standing throughout.
